UX Check
See your platform the way your customers do. From XL desktop to smartwatch.
An honest look at the status quo of your website, shop or app, on every device your customers use. You learn what already works, what holds people back and what to do first.
Status quo, honestly
Know what already works. Fix what costs you customers.

01
Inventory
I go through your most important journeys on five device classes, from the 32-inch screen to the watch on the wrist: finding, comparing, buying, getting in touch. Real devices, real situations, no theory. Before that, we agree on goals and key figures, and I look at your analytics, so the check focuses on the pages that really carry revenue and enquiries. Every step is documented with screenshots, from the first search to the confirmation email.

02
Assessment
Every finding is rated against clear criteria: usability, accessibility (WCAG 2.2), performance (Core Web Vitals), content and consistency. What already works well is named too, so you know what to keep. Each point gets a severity and an estimate of effort, backed by measurements from tools like Lighthouse and screen readers, not by taste. That way you can see at a glance which problems cost customers and which are merely cosmetic.

03
Roadmap
You get a prioritised report: quick wins for this week, medium-term improvements and strategic topics. I present the results in a call and answer every question. Each recommendation comes with a concrete suggestion, often as a sketch or a short code snippet, so your team or agency can start right away. If you like, I implement the changes myself and measure the effect afterwards.
What I check
Eight areas, one standard: would your customers notice? Every check covers all of them, the depth depends on the package.
Navigation & structure
Can people find what they are looking for? Menus, search, information architecture and orientation on every screen size.
Responsive, down to the watch
Layouts, touch targets, typography and images from XL desktop to smartwatch. Including landscape mode, zoom and notifications.
Accessibility
Contrast, keyboard, screen readers, focus and motion, based on WCAG 2.2. Relevant for many companies since the European Accessibility Act took effect in June 2025.
Performance
Loading times and Core Web Vitals, measured on real mobile connections. With concrete causes, not just scores.
Forms & conversion
Contact, checkout, sign-up: where people hesitate, give up or make mistakes, and how to change that.
Content & microcopy
Headlines, buttons, error messages: clear, consistent and in the voice of your brand?
Design system & consistency
Colours, components, spacing: does everything feel like one brand, on every channel?
Trust & compliance
Cookie notice, privacy, imprint, error pages and security signals. The small things that decide whether people stay.
